Music can give you insight into the literal rhythms and patterns of a specific culture. This Indonesian folk music provides insight into the history and tradition of different parts of the country. These four songs are as follows: 

Tak Tong Tong from West Sumatra

Ondel-Ondel from Jakarta

Cublak Cublak Suweng from Central Java

Janger from Bali

Each song is from a different area of Indonesia, which I found to be really cool and is a big reason why I chose to share this video in particular. The diverse styles and patterns share similar ties, but the songs are very different which shows firsthand the variations among the country of Indonesia.
